If you want to avoid dealing with unreliable buyers, insultingly low offers, and the hassle of selling, Prenew is the easy choice.
The components of your computer can be checked in several ways, but the easiest method is as follows: 1. Open the Windows search bar. 2. Search for a program called Task Manager and open it. 3. In Task Manager, open the Performance tab on the left side or at the top. 4. The blue arrows indicate where you can find the different components of your computer. You can view the details by clicking on the following sections: CPU (Processor), Memory (RAM), Disk (Storage), and GPU (Graphics Card). The information appears in the top-right corner. For example, you can see the processor type such as i7-1065G7, and the storage type (SSD or HDD) in the lower-right corner under the Disk tab. 5. Task Manager does not display information about the power supply or the motherboard. If you are unsure about these components, follow the instructions in our calculator to create a price estimate. 6. You can find your computer's components in the dropdown menu of our calculator. If your parts are not found in our calculator, it usually means that we do not purchase computers equipped with those components. The usual reason is that the components are relatively old (typically over 10 years old) or very specific models with limited resale demand. Please contact customer service if you believe a new component should be added to the calculator.
After selling your computer, you will receive a link to a tracking page by email where you can easily see the current stage of your computer in the sales process. If you do not see the information in your inbox, please check your spam folders. If you cannot find them in any folder, please contact customer service for details.
We take care of everything for you! You do not need to format or wipe the computer before sending it to us. However, if you prefer, you may wipe the computer and remove the operating system yourself before shipping it, as we perform a fresh installation of the operating system during our refurbishment process anyway.
If your parts are not found in our calculator, it usually means that we do not purchase computers equipped with those components. The usual reason is that the components are relatively old (typically over 10 years old) or very specific models with limited resale demand. We do not buy laptops or computers that use DDR3 memory. Also, we do not buy computers with custom water cooling systems as they have a high risk of breaking during shipping.
The price we offer remains the same as long as all components are correctly listed and no faults are found in our tests. If our testing reveals discrepancies compared to what was reported, we will make a new offer and you can decide whether to sell your computer at the new price or have it returned to you free of charge. The calculator price is final, and customer service cannot adjust the offer based on additional details. If you believe there is an error in the calculator, you can contact our support team for review.
We inspect computers within 1–2 business days of receiving them. Once the inspection is complete and everything matches the submitted details, payment is initiated immediately.
You can choose the delivery method during the selling process. We recommend using our Prenew shipping package that includes packaging materials and instructions for sending your computer. If instructions are followed and the proper packing is documented, the shipping is insured. You may also use your own packaging materials, but you are responsible for ensuring that the package reaches us safely.
If you use the packaging materials provided by Prenew according to the given instructions and properly document the correct packing method, your delivery will be insured.
We currently only buy gaming computers whose components can be found in our offer calculator. We do not buy devices such as computers that use DDR3 memory, laptops, or gaming consoles.
We generally do not purchase individual components. However, if you have a larger batch of components, you can request an offer from us by contacting customer service.
We do not purchase non-functional computers. If you are not sure about the condition, you can contact our customer service for a review.
